The 2022 Kindle Kids is on sale for the first time since Black Friday. The kid-friendly version of the popular affordable e-reader is now $99.99 at Amazon and Best Buy, a $20 price drop.

Parents and individuals without children like the Kindle Kids since it has the same functionality as the ad-free Kindle.

According to The Verge, a sharp 300ppi display, USB-C compatibility, and increased battery life set it apart, as do its optional parental controls, bright casing, and two-year guarantee for peace of mind.

Amazon is combining a year of Amazon Kids Plus, a collection of games, films, and novels from popular series like Artemis Fowl, Percy Jackson, and Harry Potter, available for play on various devices, including the Kindle.

The Kindle Kids' many features make it a good option for parents who want to encourage reading.

Here's How Adults Can Use Kindle Kids

Adults can also use the 2022 Kindle Kids. According to Good Housekeeping, these types of Kindles are similar to ordinary versions because they lack built-in protective coverings, which are common on child-specific devices. Take note that the basic Kindle for Kids and the entry-level Kindle are identical.

Here's how to make Kindle Kids adult-friendly: To use these devices as adults, users must set up a kid profile and accept the free year of Amazon Kids Plus.

After setup, users will see two profiles: one for adults and one for children. Users may share the device with a kid or erase the child's profile, turning it into a Kindle e-reader.

Adults may get a protective cover and a two-year guarantee despite the child-focused layout. The Kindle Kids Paperwhite has black, Emerald Forest, or Robot Dream covers, while the basic Kindle Kids has Ocean Explorer, Space Whale, or Unicorn Valley covers.

The later Kindle Kids was designed to safeguard the e-reader while seeming childish. Unlike the cheaper "With Ads" models, these Kindles come without ads, removing the need to pay extra to remove ads from the lock screen.Amazon Opens First Brick-And-Mortar Bookstore In Seattle
